Introduction to Stål Timber Tables

Stål Timber production tables began with the experiences of our founder and principle designer Josh Marten.

Josh worked in the commercial photography and print world for many years before pursuing his design dreams (check out his story on our main page!) but in that time he routinely saw a lack of quality work surfaces and storage in the many, many shops and studios he visited.

It wasn’t until he had setup his own shop that he realized the very tables he was utilizing would work perfectly in the various shops and studios he used to frequent, and thus—through Josh’s experiences, and our conversations with customers in commercial and industrial environments—Stål Timber Commercial Tables were born!

Our tables are made to order, this allows us the greatest degree of flexibility in producing custom tailored tables for you.
Our tables are made in the USA, produced in our shop in the DFW area of North Texas.
Our tables are available for nationwide shipping.
Materials for top work surface and shelves (plywood, mdf, melamine, etc) are not typically included as we believe that these materials can be sourced more cost effectively from local vendors. We provide detailed drawings to fabricate these elements that we include with your order, instructions for installation, and all the hardware needed for installation and assembly.
